Every since the update, no work emails come through and there is idea when it will be fixed. What a piece of crap.

I feel bad for anyone subjugated to using this software. Slow, lack of intuitiveness in design, redundant on an iPhone, backwards, horrible attachment system and just in general to many steps to do simple thing... Why not leverage the strengths of IOS rather than trying to make one on top...
This app, required for work email on my iPhone, crashed since the iOS was updated to 9, is apparently now fixed. Except that it still freezes, crashes, keeps email in the outbox randomly. I guess issues happen but if you are refocusing your business on enterprise server share shouldnt you have a better grip than this? Even when working the App is average.
Ok.. A few annoyances... 1) The calendar is too basic. At the "month" view.. Theres missing DOTS on the days indicating that theres something in that day, it also doesnt flow (please take a look at fantastical and see what I mean by flow) 2) the swipe to delete is good... But the popup confirming the delete is redundant and annoying, get rid of it. (Have a look at Microsoft outlook on iOS)(they let you chose what the swiping gestures do) 3) the contacts sync extremely slow.. If I delete a contact, it just freezes there for a second and then nothing happens, I have to delete it like 20 times and then finally it might delete. 4) this blackberry software is ruining this iPhone! If I wanted software with rough edges I would of purchased a blackberry. 5) hire devs for iOS. Look at what Google and Microsoft do... All their iOS apps are excellent. 6) when adding an attachment: and I dont have any attachments to add, the back button doesnt work. 7) I cant attach more then 1 picture at a time.. Why?! 8) in a calendar event, if someone sends me a phone # in the location.. I cant interact/touch the #... I need to write it down somewhere just to dial it... Eh..... No other mail app does this! 9) why black berry why?!
The only update result you get is that you will not be able to view your emails anymore! Same issue then the last update.
The last firmware update just rendered this app useless. When you try to open, it defualts to the Apple page asking for your iPad login code, does some type of update, then crashes. Please fix asap. Update 26 Nov - update on this date has still not fixed the problem. This app is completely unusable with the last two firmware updates. Do you people not test on iPads prior to release?!
It seems every time theres a new release theres something else that breaks. While I have not experienced the same issues as the previous commenters, I seem to have intermittent issues using the touchID. Sometimes it accepts it, sometimes not. As a workaround I can use the workspace unlock code or forcefully close the app and reopen.
It seems like every time they fix something in this app they break something else. Now (as of November 20, version 1.0.22474.320) I cant play the .wav files that our Cisco voicemail system forwards to me. This used to work fine. Much of my commentary below still applies. Incidentally, supposedly Touch ID is back, but the app says we have a setting on our end that doesnt allow it. Our IT people disagree. Sigh. At least they finally introduced iOS 9 support. _____ The September 9 update (1.0.21391.203) retains some of the long-outstanding buggy behaviour, such as the inability to handle exceptions to recurring appointments properly. (See below for the workaround, which involves making sure the exception invitations and replies are not kept in any email folder that Work Connect will sync.) The bigger problem right now, as others have noted, is an apparently lack of iOS 9 compatibly. I have not tested this myself, but I got an email from our IT department today warning us not to update our iPhones to iOS 9, lest our corporate email stop working. Like someone else here said, its possible for third party enterprise software providers to release stable iOS apps, so get your act together Blackberry. (One note to that person—you can indeed turn of email delete confirmations. Its in the app settings.) _____ The July 8 update (1.0.20573.105) fixed the problem with seeing email in folders (whew!), but dropped Touch ID. Im guessing they had to do some kind of emergency rollback to an earlier version of the code while they worked out the more serious problem. Overall the app does what its supposed to—mostly. But its buggy. One thing I didnt mention in my original review below is that the calendar gets easily confused when there are exceptions to recurring events. Meetings that show up in Outlook sometimes dont show up in Work Connect, which is kind of bad. It seems to be caused when the app processes one-off changes and cancellations that it finds in your email, which easily happens if you change the Mail Days to Sync setting to sync more than the default 3 days of past emails (I use No Limit). So, for example, I have a team meeting every week. Sometimes my boss cancels one. After that cancellation email is processed by Work Connect *all* of the occurrences of that meeting either disappear from my calendar or are marked as cancelled, instead of just the one that was cancelled! There is a workaround to this problem: Remove those cancellation emails from your Inbox, and your Sent and Deleted Items folders, as soon as they are created. You can either permanently delete them, or do what I do – drag them into a folder that is not set to sync in Work Connect, and which you will not open in Work Connect. Then delete your email account (Settings > General > [choose the account] > Remove Account) and set it up again. This always works to force the calendar to rebuild itself, as long as you have first removed those meeting exception emails from any folders that Work Connect will open. (This problem has existed for at least as long as Ive been using Work Connect, which is 11 months. I retested it today (July 10, 2015) in version 1.0.20573.105 and the problem is still there. The workaround still works.) Previous review below. _____ This app has always been buggy, but theyve been improving it gradually over the last year. The June 24 update adds Touch ID so you dont need to enter your workspace password, but it breaks something far more important—the ability to see email saved in any folders! Thats right; if you navigate to a folder that is not one that normally syncs (so, by default, any folder other than Inbox or Sent Items), and you the drag down to force a synchronization of that folder, nothing happens! One step forward, two steps back. There is a workaround: In Settings, set the folder you want to see to synchronize. But thats a bad workaround, as you might not want to have a bunch of folders always syncing, and the ad-hoc method of forcing a sync on one folder only (by pulling down) used to work (like, before this week). Overall, while its getting better, Work Connect still lacks the stability and polish of the native iOS mail and calendar apps (and thats saying something, because the native iOS 8 calendar app is a bit buggy itself). I wish my employer would just allow me to use the native apps instead of this buggy BlackBerry mess. But on the other hand its kind of nice to have work all in its own separate place where its easy to ignore when Im off the clock. Which reminds me—push notifications dont work for email in Work Connect, but Im grateful for that. [Update 29 Jul 15: This is not correct. Push email actually works. It turns out it was a server setting at our work place. Sorry for the error.] (And push notifications for calendar items are buggy. I still get alerts for items that have been deleted from the calendar. [Still happens in 1.0.20573.105.])
Since ios9 I cannot receive emails. iOS 9 was sent to developers months ago. This is beyond amateur for Blackberry to not have an updated app to support this. This is an update to first first review. This app was updated in Nov and now constantly freezes and I have to close the app and reopen it to get my emails to sync. Its like Blackberry wants to have a terrible app on purpose.
This app seems to continuously get worse. The inability to listen to .wav files is extremely frustrating when it used to work. Im getting notifications for events scheduled for next week as occurring now. Im not receiving advanced notification of events even though my reminders have been set. Whats the point of having notifications if theyre incorrect?
App always crash on IOS 9.3
Come on guys. The Beta release has been out for months now. The app just crashes on 9.3. Not acceptable.
100% incompetent programmers, not even able to release in time for 9.3. This is just one example in the life of this garbage app... One crash every day is what I call incompetency at its best.
Congrats to the Blackberry iOS team - youve officially managed to drop the ball! There is a major conspiracy at hand - you see, they were denied access to all the 9.3 betas, and even the Gold Master release. In other words, blame apple and bring the pitchforks!!! On a more serious note, this is really inconceivable, and the fact that even before the iOS update, the app crashed at least once a day is just pathetic - if you are trying to win customers away from your own ecosystem, at least try to make things work. People pay for BES, so its not like you are supporting freeloaders - you are impacting operations for paying clients.
Hey Blackberry, can we expect an update anytime soon?
They did this for iOS 9 too! What is wrong with this company? No one is buying your phones so having software on other companys phones is your other solution to keep cash coming in. You are screwing that up. BB had months to work on this update, should have been ready for 9.3 launch. No other way to put it other than poor.
Did Chen fire the entire iOS team? This is the second time you werent ready. Blackberrys solution is to move to Good. At this point why should I trust they wont slide as well. Time to take a serious look at Airwatch
Its just not worth the frustration and lost productivity anymore. This app, as with the previous iOS updates, failed after upgrading to 9.3. This happens every time theres an iOS update. Did you test it? Or are you relying on your users to test it in production? Ill make it easy for you: IT DOESNT WORK!!! Crashes immediately on launch. Im done with blackberry
App still not working with 9.3 update? This should have been sorted by now!
iOS is available to update your app much sooner. You dont have to wait until public release. I cant upgrade to latest iOS because of your laziness Blackberry. Die already.
